Hebrew is the sacred language of our people, and learning it opens up a whole new way to connect to our tradition, find new insight into our prayers and sacred texts, and spark renewed spirituality. Cantor Frank will teach a class that will review basic reading skills and expand on the foundation of beginning Hebrew. In this class you will learn the tools you need to decipher any Hebrew word as well as some basic vocabulary. The course will concentrate on prayers and blessings and Torah text. It will be interactive and fun. This can also be a wonderful introduction to those considering adult Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Basic and secure knowledge of the Hebrew vowels and letters is required. Class will be conducted on Zoom, Mondays at 3pm beginning on February 7 and ending May 23.
