Prepare Sack Lunches and Serve Hot Meals at ICS

Once a month, TAS members make lunches and serve the morning meal to homeless clientele at ICS in Escondido. We do this on the third Wednesday of each month. We can always use “more hands”!  If you are interested in doing a wonderful mitzvah once a month or act as a substitute, please contact Sharon Stanford, Coordinator, at or 760.741.7783.

What is ICS?

Temple Adat Shalom has been part of Interfaith Community Services for many years--our congregants helped found this important community resource. ICS implements comprehensive programs to provide basic needs, social services, counseling, and economic development to empower the disadvantaged in our community. Our congregation periodically holds food drives, including our biggest food drive at the High Holidays, to help keep the ICS pantry filled.
