New TAS Cookbook

                                                 

A new Temple Adat Shalom cookbook is in process! This cookbook will be dedicated to the memory of our beloved Nancy Dunn. Nancy dedicated so much of herself to the Temple volunteering weekly in the office, serving on the Sisterhood board, her deep involvement in the Jewish Food Festival and her continued support of preserving a Jewish presence in North County.
 
We are now accepting original recipes to include in this publication.
 
Rules for submission:

  • There will be a limit on recipes within each category. Unused submissions may be used in future publications
  • No Pork, Shellfish or dairy combined with meat recipes. Note, substitute Nucoa, Fleishman’s non-dairy margarine for butter where required.
  • Original recipes only. Note, modifications to recipes that may have been inspired from another Chef does make that recipe yours.
  • Would be appreciated (but not absolutely required): if possible, please type the recipe out in WORD. Scanned recipes are acceptable but we would have to type them out.
  • Please include one or two sentences about the recipe. For example, "this was my Grandmother’s recipe and a family favorite over the holidays." "We loved waking up in the morning to the aroma of my Mother’s cinnamon rolls." Or, "this is a perfect way to use leftover turkey or chicken." Don't forget to include your name so we may add a “Submitted by” line after the recipe!
  • There will be an additional section to the TAS Cookbook: Tips/Tricks and Gadgets. Please send in any shortcuts, easier ways of doing things in the kitchen or the niftiest new gadgets you have found.
