Josh Lamon's Journey from TAS to Broadway

Josh Lamon comes from modest roots as a member of our TAS family as a young protege of our own Cantor Lori Frank. His parents are still active members of Temple Adat Shalom.

Josh has since gained notable success on Broadway; most recently in the role of “Barry”, in the Tony Award nominated Broadway musical The Prom. Other recent roles on Broadway include the Tony Award nominated musical Groundhog Day, where he originated the role of ‘Buster’, the town mayor and keeper of the Groundhog, Phil.

He is also known for his other scene stealing work on and off Broadway in such hits as Finding Neverland (original cast), Hair (both the original revival cast and the 2011 Summer Of Love company), Into the Woods (Opposite Amy Adams, Donna Murphy and Denis O’Hare), Little Miss Sunshine and his acclaimed performance of “Richard” in City Center’s revival of A New Brain starring opposite Jonathan Groff and Ana Gastayer. He has also appeared on TV on shows such as 30 Rock and Inside Amy Schumer among many others.

Josh will discuss his personal journey from his formidable days to his success on stage and screen and what new projects he has in the works.
