Jane Sable-Friedman assumed the position of Executive Director at Temple Adat Shalom in January 2005. She has entered the temple
administration field after living many years in Israel and being involved in Theater, Israeli Culture and Kibbutz Management.
Jane holds a Masters degree In Cultural Geography from The Haifa University in Israel. Jane is married to Doron and has two
boys, Tal and Adam.

Marilyn Milne has close to 20 years experience in the early childhood education field, which has included both teaching and
administration of child development programs. She has a BA in Child Development and work towards an MS in Child and Family
Development from California State University, Northridge. Throughout the United States and Canada she has both attended and
presented workshops at numerous professional conferences. In the Los Angeles area where she was raised, she was a field work
supervisor for students from Pierce and Valley Community Colleges and California State University, Northridge. It is
considered by Marilyn to be a great privilege and tremendous responsibility to be involved in such a tender and influential
stage of life. Marilyn lives in Escondido with her husband, Michael, and teenage son, Spencer. Her hobbies include cooking,
gardening and hiking.

Susan Cohn became Education Director of the Mosad Shalom Religious School in July 2005. Ms. Cohn
moved from Chicago where for ten years she had been Director of High School Education for the Chicago Community Foundation for Jewish
Education. She had also held responsible positions in Jewish educational administration in Tucson, AZ and Syracuse, NY. Ms. Cohn
has earned her Masters Degree in Educational Administration, from the University of Arizona. With her extensive experience
in curriculum development and school administration Susan is putting her own brand of energy and knowledge into our
religious school! Ms. Cohn has a married daughter and grandchildren here in San Diego, and is very happy to join our community.

Rick Degelsmith has spent most of his life learning and working with kids. He attended Camp Akiba summer resident camp at the age of
4 and is now the director of that camp. With four decades of camp experience, Rick brings a vast array of skills and ideas
to our youth groups. While teaching high school science in the 80's & 90's, Rick earned his Master's Degree in Education from
U.C. San Diego, and he has extensive experience as an educational consultant. He was a participant and leader in Jewish
youth group as a kid & young adult and has big ideas to help our youth group grow and develop into a model program.
Rick's interests include skiing, SCUBA, sailing, travel, biology, kids, and family. He currently runs his own business
providing web/email services and support for a myriad of clientele.
