Temple Adat Shalom will host a program for the OneVoice Movement called "Do Not Let the 'OneVoice' of Israelis and Palestinians Go
Unheard". The OneVoice Movement is a grassroots nonpartisan movement of Israelis and Palestinians that to date has over a quarter
million signatories on its mandate for a two-state solution in Israel and Palestine. The movement, which has united people across
the political and religious spectrum on both sides, has offices in the Tel Aviv, Ramallah, and Gaza City. OneVoice activists
recently addressed the Israeli foreign minister and the Palestinian president at a plenary session of the World Economic Forum in
Davos, Switzerland.
Two youth leaders, Sagi and Dalia, one Israeli and one Palestinian, will join forces to bring their side of the story to Temple Adat Shalom. Their message is the message of the majority, their ally is the other, and their enemy is extremism: they are OneVoice. Since the inception of OneVoice in 2002, this grassroots movement has taken a bold approach to engaging Palestinians and Israelis in greater civic involvement. People on both sides of the political and religious spectrum will stand united as "OneVoice" against violence - serving notice to their leaders and to the world that they are ready to take action and will accept nothing less than a negotiated two-state solution to the conflict. Do not let the 'OneVoice' of Israelis and Palestinians go unheard. Please join our Social Action Shabbat on Friday, April 27 at 6:15 p.m. There will be a special multicultural oneg after the service sponsored by the Social Action Committee. The community is welcome and there is no fee to attend this program. Click here to view a flyer for the event. Click here to view a flyer from the OneVoice Movement.
