What is the Men's Club?
The Men's Club is a social organization of men who join together in friendship for programs to benefit the Temple and the community - for social activities, for tzedakah, for study, and for the growth of the individual in a male communal setting.

What Does the Men's Club Do?
We are a part of the foundation of what makes Temple Adat Shalom so much more then just a Jewish community. Here are some of our activities:
  • Run the Purim Carnival
  • Feed the homeless on Christmas
  • Hold annual family camping trip
  • Organize monthly brunches with speakers on topics ranging from Jewish culture to sports
  • Fund educational trips for our youth
  • Visit elder care facilities and sing joyously as the Menschtones
  • Participate in the Temple's blood drive
  • Fund speakers and programs about the Holocaust
  • Watch Monday Night Football together
  • Organize picnic for St. Claire's battered woman's shelter
  • Organizes bi-annual whitewater rafting trip
  • Tailgate and perform Havdalah at Padre games
  • Join together to lead the annual Men’s Club Shabbat
  • Cook hundreds of latkes for Mosad Shalom’s Hannukah program
  • Organize annual Champagne Brunch to celebrate Mother's Day
So when you ask yourself, so what does the Men’s Club do & why should I join or support it? Look around you, sense the feeling of belonging, sense the feeling of togetherness, sense the feeling of family and brotherhood. Understand those things and you will know who we are and what we do!

Get Involved
Come join us and share the fun and camaraderie of our events. We are always looking for fresh ideas for religious, social, and service oriented events and projects. Annual dues are $54 and include all brunches and discounts on other events. We strive to include all Temple members who may wish to join. If you are a new Temple member, the first year membership in the Men's Club is free.
