Mazel Tov on your engagement!
Our rabbi and cantor love to do weddings. More importantly, they enjoy the process and series of meetings with each couple, meant to prepare them not only for the ceremony, but also for the beginning of their Jewish life together. The clergy are available to meet with couples several times leading up to the joyous event. When you or one of your children becomes engaged, one of your first steps should be to contact the clergy you wish to have officiate at the wedding. If you want the wedding to take place at Adat Shalom, contact the Temple Administrator to set the time and date. When choosing a date, remember that Jewish weddings are not performed on Shabbat or festivals (on Saturday evenings, they may be scheduled 45 minutes after sundown.) Our facilities are available for a fee to our members and their children. Unaffiliated members of the Jewish community may also use our facilities. Click here for details of our facilities. |
