TAS Madrichim Program

The Madrichim Program gives students in grades 8-12 the opportunity to be teacher assistants in Mosad Shalom Religious School classes. This gives older students the opportunity to be a positive role model and influence younger children in our school. Students are compensated for their work through a generous stipend to Mosad Shalom Religious School from the Sisterhood.

When a student is a MADRICHA (female leader) or MADRICH (male leader) they are a part of the Temple Adat Shalom Madrichim Program. The requirements for participation in the Madrichim Program are:

  • Recommended by a teacher.

  • Complete an application form and submit it to the Mosad Shalom school office before the beginning of the school year.

  • Be enrolled and participating in two or more of the following: 8/9 grade classes, Confirmation, Juniors or TASTY youth group OR Junior Choir. (Please contact the Education Director if there are special considerations).

  • Attend three special meetings during the school year that will help provide Madrichim with the tools and skills to be the best Madrich/a possible
