Temple Adat Shalom offers an accredited High School Hebrew language course for students in the Poway, Ramona, and San Dieguito school districts. Students wishing to take Hebrew to fulfill their language requirements in schools where it is not offered can enroll in our program and know that they are preparing for the SAT II and meeting the UC system standards. Levels taught are Beginnning, Intermediate, and Advanced and Advanced Plus.

This award-winning program offers students the option of studying Hebrew in the familiar setting of Temple Adat Shalom, in classes that are taught completely in Hebrew and limited to 15 students. Projects, films, and other audio visual experiences and special programs are part of the course. This program not only fulfills high school requirements, but also has UC approval and appeals to a wide range of college admissions officers. Of course the class meets California requirements for graduation. The Hebrew grade becomes part of the students grade point average at their local school.

Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:15 - 7:30 PM beginning August 24, 2006. Our teachers are Hebrew speakers and have many years experience in teaching High School Hebrew. For Temple members the special rate is $1,100 which includes Mosad Shalom tuition for the pre-confirmation program (and is only $550 above Mosad Shalom upper-grade fees).
