Get Involved at Your Child's Preschool

Each year we ask parents to volunteer and help with the planning and execution of the many events we have throughout the year. Below is an explanation of the various areas we need volunteer support. Please take a moment to read about the different events and sign up to help. The more volunteers the better!

Parent Chair: Coordinates all room parents. Attends parent committee meetings. Meets with Cathy: school events, calendaring, fundraising, general school needs. Emails and/or phones room parents to keep them informed.

Room Parent: Must attend the once a month committee meeting, make phone calls and work closely with the teacher.

Bounce A Rama: This is our annual fundraiser. The Bounce A Rama committee will meet monthly to plan and execute this event. This committee requires a group of people who are willing to invest time and energy into this event.

Sisterhood Representative: Plan several special fun events throughout the year, such as moms or dad's night out, family day at the Padres, Parent only social, all school movie night etc….

Grandparents Club: Coordinates activities for grandparents such as Grandparents Shabbat and makes sure they are invited to the various school events.

Chanukah Party: Coordinate a group of parents to provide food, fun, and games for our Chanukah celebration.

Purim Carnival: This committee will meet to help plan and work the annual Preschool Purim celebration.

Passover Seder: This committee will coordinate, set up and decorate for the annual preschool Passover program. Teacher Appreciation Week: This committee will plan and carry out the needs for Teacher Appreciation Week. This will require creating a list of gift ideas, making/distributing a flyer and coordinating the room parents.

Shalom Picnic: This is our end of the year party. This committee will plan and carry out the coordination of the all-school luncheon that follows the program.

I'M TOO BUSY TO HELP committee: This is a new committee designed to get everyone involved. It requires no time commitment and no phone calls to make. We ask that you donate $ equal to 20 hours of your time. You can click here to make a donation.
